there's lots of guff floating around about this and nobody's quite clear on it. The trailer depicts a NY roof party film on handheld cam (BWP style), then a huge explosion in the centre of the city.

Suggestions as to what's going on include Godzilla 2 and a Fog monster a la Lost, as per wiki.

Expect internet chicanery to build the hype and the film to be a pile of shite, just like BWP.

Hope it is 'zilla 2.
I think I'm one of the few people in the world who actually rates the first one. It's a cracking film; seen it loads of times.

I didn't think it was the film itself that spoilt it, I thought it was the casting.
