Nando's

Post by mummywhycantieatcrayons » Thu Nov 22, 2007 9:17 pm

It's my favourite food and I've heard a rumour that one has opened on the Middlebrook while I've been away.

Can anyone confirm this?

Yes, it's open now, although reports suggest it has teething problems.

Really? It's just about the most simple format possible - are they employing the same lot who dish out the Rollover hotdogs?!

Yeah, I buy them (though not from Asda), but it's just not the same as the real thing.

I've seen Nandos on the Reebok. WHat is it? Fast food, takeaway or sit in job?

Nando's ... based on a Portugese Chicken bbq.

Sit & eat in.

A very limited range of foods, all chicken based, whole, half, quarter. Wings, BuTterfly or Ch. Burger.

With Fries, Corn Cob or Coleslaw.

Then choose whether you want it basted & grilled sweet, low-hot, medium hot or very hot.

V V basic ... &, frankly .... fckg brilliant !!!

Try it.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Can be either Harry.

It's a sort of KFC but much, much better.

I think it is ok but my daughter really loves it.

It is really popular down my part of the world (west Londonish)

You must try the peri-peri sauce - if you like that you will be hooked!

For your info (and anyone else who as never heard of Nando's before) the following is the Wiki entry -

I've never had Nando's and am very upset it has replaced Burger King which was my pre-match meal of choice.

If there is a lack of a decent Chinese buffet in a reasonable radius then Nando's is the way forward
