Having had Gertie's permission, I would like to introduce you all to Phoebe, who Gertie introduced to the world in the early hours of this morning.... I'd just like to say congrats to Gertie and her hubby, and that she is truly a gorgeous little christmas miracle!!!

Terrific news!

All the best to Gert and Mr Gert. I trust that all will go well for the three of you. You have some interesting years ahead of you. There will be times that are frustrating or difficult or when you think 'why did I do this?'. Whatever, cherish every moment no matter the circumstance. I know it's an old cliché, but it's still true, children grow up so fast - before you know it it's boyfriend time. Please give her the attached cyber-cuddle from me.

Congratulations!

I had a beautiful baby daughter - all tiny and perfect, just like the picture of beautiful Phoebe - seems like only yesterday - she is all grown up now - my how time flies by!

I brought my daughter up with all my love and affection and she paid me back by becoming a Chelsea fan - Grrrr!!!

The birth of my child and watching her growing up as been the best thing ever in my life and I'm sure Gertie and Mr Gertie will experience the same wonderful pleasures from Phoebe (and her future brothers and sisters).

God bless you all.

PS. love the name Phoebe

I'm a little surprised actually Phoebe doesn't even rhyme with Jussi or Jaaskelainen for that matter :-)

Congrats Gertie and Mr Gertie and welcome Phoebe

Why? Gertie's a blond - I mean she has to be with all the things she does and says, right? SKD is the redhead - just ask any Costa Rican. Gertie's the one in teddy bear pjs.

Well done, Gertie. What name is Phoebe registering on TW under? I hope she'll be a Canadiens fan as well. Terrific news for all of us, but especially you and your family.
