This one is really aimed at anyone from the US but the girls watch American Idol and I sit there sometimes watching it and wonder what just is the point of Paula Abdul. She never actually says anything about the performance instead if someone is total shite she will say how nice they look and skip the real comments, in fact most of the time she talks gibberish.

Also can the Americans cope without using the word Awesome, 99% of the time what they are talking about is not awesome and on that show where they smash up houses they say it every other word (ok it seems that way) Is it called Extreme Makeover or summat?
