Seen it advertised, doesn't look all that great.thebish wrote:well - the family enjoyed it... I have to confess I nodded off!Annoyed Grunt wrote:Any good?thebish wrote:went to see ParaNorman - a dark tale with deep themes of death and redemption... one for WtW I think...
was in Torquay central cinema - a proper old fashioned one - and we were the ONLY people in! So - in effect - we had a private family viewing!
also - i have eaten too many jelly babies and have stomach ache...

It was actually a good game. Everton should have won it though.Bruce Rioja wrote:Just caught the last 20 mins. Was it all like that?Annoyed Grunt wrote:Monday Night Football for me.

In my opinion, Everton deserve to win every single game. What with Moyes running the team without spending any money and everything.

It was only in the post-amble that I learned of the 'offside 'goal'. Must be a hard one to take for the Evertonians, but I did raise a little smile and think 'Yeah, remember 97, Pikeys? Had a dig through the DVD's and a re-watch of Heat. Worth it for Pacino and De Niro's acting.

Re: What are you watching tonight?
I've only seen the first half of Heat and been meaning to watch the rest for a long time, finally picked up a blu ray copy of it today so going to finish it off soon. I loved the first half so I don't think I'll be disappointed with the rest.
Have Al Pacino and De Niro ever made a bad film together? I can't recall one.

I know that I've watched Heat, it's in my collection, but I don't remember a single thing about it. Maybe I should watch it again.

They've been in three, Godfather II, Heat and Rightous Kill. Even though I thought there was more, I still stand by my statement.superjohnmcginlay wrote:That's cos they haven't been in many together. GuttedThe BBC pulls the last ep. of Good Cop due to a scene depicting a violent attack on a WPC. Aren't we adult enough to know this is fiction?
