What are you watching tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

My error. To make it worse I once corrected somebody on the same thing. Senior moment, I have a few of them these days.

Best car chase in a film I've ever seen, Ronin

Still think the one in Moscow from the Bourne Supremacy is a good'un.

Having been involved in a great many pursuits back in the day I am something of an aficionado and declare that the one in Ronin is the very best closely followed by French Connection. Bullit is an odd one and you'll notice the same green VW Beetle is passed numerous times (and at different angles) during the incident. All three films rank in my all-time top ten films though.

On the theme of cars, I'd like to see C'etait un Rendezvous, can't find it anywhere though.

I'll go with that Clapton. The ones in Ronin (with an "n") and French Connection seemed so much more a part of the stories rather than just spectacle. Don't forget The Italian Job for sheer enjoyment.

Saw The Butler at Cineworld, and was glad to have seen it. It wears its heart on its sleeve - but its heart is also in the right place. The story it has to tell is worth telling (the archive footage was a reminder of just how vicious the South was when it came to Civil Rights).

Is there a good car chase in it?

There's not even a bad one... TFFT... (though Bullit is the one I remember most).

probably mentioned it in this thread earlier but really looking forward to Inside Llewyn Davis next month. Latest Coen Brothers' effort.

Yep. Everyone in the world hated it. Except me. I think it's great.

Surprised you gave up on it given the calibre of women present!?

Nice evening curled up with the dog and a big bowl of ice cream. Watched 'Great British bake off - Christmas special' followed by the fantastic 'Keane + Vieria - best of enemies' which took me back to far happier times when we were invincible and actually had some steel in our team. Still dislike Roy Keane though, even after all these years...
