The most startling admission of The Who documentary is Pete Townshend's admission that after Quadrophenia he was spent as a songwriter. He basically said that after Quadrophenia they were shit. Certainly they never reached the heights again but it goes to show the pressures of having to come up with 'genius' time and time again.

Incidentally I have seen The Who, at Birmingham NEC. Only home game I missed that season, the 8 -1 win against Walsall. :( Oh and The Who are a proper band, loud as feck.

Watched an old classic, "Captain Horatio Hornblower" whacking the French and Spanish yesterday. Tonight, it's captain Horatio Beckham in Trinidad. :wink:
