Where the hell is the rest of the south on that chart? Or is it just London now?
In a world that has decided
That it's going to lose its mind
Be more kind, my friends, try to be more kind.

And now lives in the South that isn't London, you mean?

Not been there long enough, anyway Brighton is a London suburb.

I think this is impartial and really reaches no definitive conclusion

All the people calling UKIP have quite missed the point, most of the main things on which they stood are now in main stream politics and will not fade away even if UKIP does.
Shame we are still going to waste all that money propping up other peoples space industries or buying de-populating African leaders new Merc's and building the expensive Hornby train set!
It's a lot more than the socialists can claim

it's Farage - not UKIP or UKIP's abiding legacy/influence... it's Farage specifically who I called "yesterday's man".

I have never said UKIP's legacy would fade away - not that being anti-EU is anything new or unique to UKIP...

your post sounds like you might be slightly coming round to agreeing with me! (about Farage!) - if (as you suggest) UKIP fades away - then Farage will... no?

as for the party you call "socialist" - presumably Labour? - then I reckon the NHS is a pretty decent achievement that currently eclipses UKIP... don't you? also - the minimum wage... no?

Oh we are moving the goal posts back in time now are we?
I'd throw in Iraq, winter of discontent, selling off the gold reserves, IMF funding, Mid Staffs hospital, that will do for starters!
No it seems that the left are gloating over the UKIP dust up after this election, found of telling the world UKIP failed.
Well I'll toss you who were the biggest losers.

We are having a referendum on EU membership.
All main parties are looking at ways to curb immigration and benefits immigrants are or have been getting.
I'd say the campaign for UKIP was rather good actually.

Do tell what Labour gained out of this election, all I can see is loss.
Loss of a leader
Loss of a deputy leader
Loss of seats
And a big loss to a Nationalist Party!

errrr... you said that what ukip achieved was a lot more than the socialists can claim! :-)

labour gained LOADS in this election just gone! the loss of Milliband and Balls for one! (two!)

i have never claimed that labour won the election / didn't lose it / didn't lose it badder than UKIP / or anything else along those lines - i never made any comparisons at all between ukip and labour!! and I am not interested in tossing you!

all I claimed was that Farage is yesterday's man!! which I still think he is! (and you do too if you are honest!)

Thank the lord for that!

No, I don't think Farage is yesterdays man until after the referendum, he made mistakes as leader if he should carry on or not is debateable but it's not time to exit stage left yet.

I think Farage might be more inclined to exit stage right!
