Really not what I expected at all. Liam Neeson is a 56 year old Jason Bourne!

He's an ex CIA field agent who leaves his job to be closer to his daughter. After conning Neeson into letting her visit Paris, she is abducted by Albanians and thrust into the underground world of human trafficking.

As she's being taken, Neeson manages to speak to her kidnapper on her mobile phone. He tells him in no uncertain terms to let her go, or face the consequences. Something they really should have listened to.

The rest is an adrenalin fuelled ride, filled with car chases, gun fights and fist fights that wouldn't look out of place in any Jason Bourne movie.

Neeson is fantastic as Brian Mills, the paranoid father experiencing every parents worst nightmare.

It's by far the best film I have seen this year, and would recommend it to anyone!

I enjoyed it for what it is (pretty generic action thriller), Liam Neeson such a king. Love how the French are portrayed as just standing by eating a baguette and not doing anything
