Was at Wahaca again yesterday evening with friends. Another very decent meal in really nice surroundings. Impressed by this place!

Chicken pilaf in the slow cooker.
Browned the chicken and softened some onion and red pepper. Bunged it in the slow cooker with cumin, coriander, Saffron, rice, garlic and sultanas. Parsley and almonds sprinkled over. Beautiful

Just checked up on the Christmas cakes that have been maturing for a few weeks, and given them a little "moistening". Not sure I'll need a glass of wine now.
