On the more important issue being discussed, can we also throw Mercedes drivers into the mix?
(And FYI Bruce, I tend to find the number of one's BMW in inverse proportion to ones prickishness. Sort of "look at me, I can just about afford a Beemer, I intend to exercise my god given rights over other road users to the full now". Like they bought a ticket to the club and are trying to impress the older boys, if you will).

You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Sorry Pru, but you are just displaying your ignorance of how intelligence gathering works. You never get a full picture, rather a series of fragmented pieces that usually make little sense. The intelligence from rendition could support or validate a single piece of intelligence that helps provide a picture.
Often, it's gut feeling. That's what happened in Gibraltar many years ago with PIRA. Once again, the security services were pilloried for the fatal shootings. Until they found the bomb.
Interesting that what you are telling us, is that should someone disclose the possibility of multiple suicide bombers on Oxford Street on Boxing Day, we should do nothing with that if it has been obtained by torture. For me, the moral lines are more blurred than that. I'd sooner save several hundred shoppers.

Black Friday might be alleviated a little if we let it happen though. There's pros and cons. Just putting it out there.

A fair assessment, although I very rarely hear '5 Series' being mentioned without it being immediately preceded by 'Some nice person in a'Lord Kangana wrote:On the more important issue being discussed, can we also throw Mercedes drivers into the mix?

Although 'Fat nice person in a Passat' is far more pleasurably alliterative. Not that I've ever seen one.

Prado drivers are even worse. I mean it sounds like Prada, so extra twatish even before their inability to park/use indicators and drive more than an inch away from your bumper.

Is there only me that doesn't moan about paying Solicitors bills?

Re: Today I'm angry about.....
As long as they do it right I'm happy to pay them their rates, but that's because I know if they do something wrong it's generally personal [or own business] and is therefore going to be about a painful transaction as it can get.

Personally speaking, wiping out humanity, as in no future generations, has a certain appeal. My problem is, from an 'intelligence' led perspective, that killing just five or six dicks hardly does it. To tell the truth, Mumbai stylee 200-300 seems a little short of my talent. Problem is, as a lone wolf maniac, how do I manage to hit the tens of thousands, never mind the millions, that would really satisfy me?

I don't see this at all. All drivers of other cars should just move over and get out of my way. Specially those slow ones.Bruce Rioja wrote:See, I would limit that to specifically drivers of the 5 Series.malcd1 wrote:Good question. (I would put BMW drivers in the same category)
I used to have an A4 but couldn't be doing with how pokey it was. It did go like shit off of a stick, mind.

Libby Purves, hardly Descartes at the best of times, asks "call a truce in this endless war of outrage. If offence is taken too eagerly and often, it loses its force".
Can anybody get this through to the outraged Muslim dickheads that constitute a third of the world?
I see another wanker has elevated his Muslim outrage into deadly intent... yet afeckinggen... and no doubt certain dickheads on here will blame anybody but the Muslim religion for the OUT FECKIN RAGE that promoted his little pathetic tirade.

Are you having a moment of outrage there, Spotty?

slow-loading web-pages...
I remember when broadband first arrived and we were amazed at the speed at which web pages loaded - and then ever faster broadband...
but now - it seems - web pages ALL have to have a massive surrounding curtain of video-adverts - such that the article on the page itself loads fast enough - BUT - once you've got past the very annoying Cookies warning - there are STILL video-ads loading all over the page.. either you have to wait for them all to load before the page will scroll and you can read what you came for - OR - you can start reading, but the page will jump every time a new one loads because they have interspersed them in-line with the text!!
it's fecking annoying and reminds me of what it used to be like in the olden dial-up days!!!

Re: Today I'm angry about.....
now that's a good point (not the porn-swipe) - but i did recently change my browser and haven't reinstalled ad-blocker... that might be worth a go! (they're not pop-ups, as such - but adverts within the page layout itself....)
