Where are you going tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

Once you've sent your e-mail to him, I'm sure the endurance coach will happily chuck you in the pit if you dont make it

Not me. I don't see the point in running 50 times round an oblong track. Last night I did an 8 1/4 mile hilly session around Enfield. Hilly, muddy, fantastic.

Tell your endurance coach to stop being a wimp and GET SOME HILLS IN!!!!!

:D Indeed he might, except for the fact that he wouldn't grace a track on an actual competition day!

Oh yes. I've been told that a particular part of Enfield (nr. Barnet) is the highest point between there and York.

Taken from some Town Planner's report:

Enfield’s topography, moving from relatively flat land in the south of the borough to a series of forested hills and valleys to the north and west of the borough, allows views from skyline ridges over London and Hertfordshire.

"Hills" is a very relative concept in London.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

I don't know what to expect.

A dose probably, going off the 3 lads I know who've been there on stag nights. 2 of the 3 ended up with warts. Not a bad hit rate!

Went to see Holy Rollers at Cineworld, late afternoon... An amiable movie... Great premise - use Orthodox Hasidic Jews as drug mules (Customs Officers never search them)... but never went for the potential comedy, or for real family drama, or for drug gangster... Just did a bit of each and ended up a bit of a mess. But easy watching.

Followed by a curry at Spice Valley... About to undergo renovation... new furnishings, floor, bar, decor... And a new menu...

Tonight was £35 well spent on excellent starters, mains and their exceptional house red.

the recession hitting Bolton restaurants, it seems - Wednesday night is now £9.95 buffet - eat as much as you want - night. I've done this buffet for Sunday lunch (inc daughters 18th birthday) and really is good.

Got freebie tickets for the final dress-rehearsal of Batman Live at the MEN courtesy of a well-placed mate. Happy.
