The difference is an elliptical wing on the Spitfire. Both have rounded wing-ends. The Messerschmidt 109 had squared off wing tips.

I am really enjoying my work experience, I much prefer being into a work environment with adults than a school/college environment where people actually take things seriously and you can have proper conversations with people about things like politics.
