Well done!

I'm waiting until the 21st but have told my work provider I'm closed for three weeks after that, something I've never done before.

Sadly, not anymore. The pension scheme has changed dramatically, meaning your cops will be using zimmers to chase crooks. I bust my knee and they forced me out. A guy I worked with whom I bumped into recently lost the bottom half of his left leg in an accident. Poor sod is still working. They've given him a desk job for the next ten years.

And rightly so. We hear all this carping on about Coppers getting weighed down with paperwork, well give it to the ones between 51 and 67 to do and free the Bobby on the beat up. It isn't rocket science. :conf:

That'd be easy Bruce if there were any. I spoke to a mate of mine not long ago who works at my old nick. We used to have a minimum of 8 cops on a weekend night shift in an ex mining town with 2 large ish nightclubs. That Friday there was a Policewoman covering the whole area on her own.

United fans crying on Radio Manchester. There's one on now saying that the fans are so angry with van Gaal they've stopped watching them on the telly.

Brilliant.

 so funny. I keep expecting them to get good again, this is ace. I'd like one of (preferably) City or (if they must) Arsenal to get their shit together and get it won though. Be like those rag bastards to whinge all year and somehow still scrape it.

Radio Manc should tell them to feck off. The club give them almost no access. Anyway, it's Citeh's birth right to piss&moan on that station.

One of my work colleagues was saying some while ago now that her 15 year old son, a rags fan, keeps crying as his mates are constantly taking the pish out of him and he's only ever known success and major bragging rights. Poor lamb can't cope with failure.

i was at the service for a new vicar in lynton today - a copper was there - he'd been asked to come and welcome her... he welcomed her by saying - I come on behalf of all the police who serve the Lyn Valley... actually we're both here.. it was him (a proper copper) and one of them pretend coppers... they operate out of a borrowed office in the fire station (which, incidentally, is itsdelf entirely staffed by volunteers)

stuff is being quietly slashed right back to the bone...

A couple of years ago when Old Red Nose when still in charge, I remember Liverpool fans were complaining on Radio 5 about their manager and the need to sack him. A smug, arrogant Man U fan came on saying sacking managers doesn't do any good and the Scousers should stop moaning all the time.

What a change. No Liverpool fans on the radio last night but the Red Scum fans were queued up to voice their opinion and want their manager sacked. I am loving this at the moment. Pity we are in such a perilous position though because I can't enjoy it as much I would like.

Ours went up a few pence a while back. Up in arms everyone was. It's come down now and even cheaper than it was. About 28p now :) Having said that, it's dear compared to neighbouring countries!
