Humph! You're far too cheeky Harry.

Didn't look that easy to me. Thought that the little fella in red gave him a decent run for his money. :?

Getting too predictable now, and he's never going to break his own reords. Time to move up to 400m I think. And tiime for Dibaba to have ago at a marathon or 1500m. Watching her cruise round then sprint away with consummate ease is impressive but boring. I wish she'd just lead it out, go for a time at least. Yawn!

First footy game in a few months, yesterday.

I hurt. A lot. Sliding around on astroturf didn't help matters, either.

Why is astroturf so painful!? You'd think with all the advances in modern technology they could make an astroturf that doesn't skin your knee when you slide across it?! :conf:

oh, they have. I've been lucky enough to play on some astroturf pitches which are an absolutely joy (and painless) to play on. However, the majority of them (especially those with the black rubber things) are absolute skin-traps D: the burn mark on my right leg is a nightmare - making sitting, er, rather uncomfortable, shall we say

Pah - youngsters! Those little black rubber bits are luxury I tell you, luxury. The first astroturf pitches were almost bald, were rock hard and had sand thrown all over them to take the bounce out of the ball. You'd end up with scabs where the skin on your knees used to be. Absolutely ridiculous stuff.

Great win by Christine Ohuruogu, what a truly amazing competitor she is. Never gets the credit she deserves either.

Fantastic run, felt a bit emotional watching! Awesome stuff. Now that, Bruce, WAS a close race. She's so under-rated and ignored by the press. World record too. Just brilliant.

I never knew she had served a ban for missing 3 consecutive drug tests. Surprised and a bit disappointed too tbh

Knew she's servd a ban, but assumed she had tested positive. No different than Rio (spit) in any way, shape or form tbh.

Not quite, but a british record isn't to be sniffed at.
