7 miles run last night and then another 3 this morning. All very slow but the first time I’ve run as far as 7 miles in years so happy with that. Have not managed yesterday or today’s abs and squats yet but if my legs let me I will do double later on today.

Brilliant.

Thankyou! Really pleased with myself actually. Fully intend on sitting on my backside this next week eating chocolate now though!

Have you got out yet this week Bruce?

Excellent GG. Well done! Make sure you do sit on that backside of yours for a while. I’ve gone from top to bottom on Nike+! 😭

That’s where I’m going wrong. This week apart, I’m not regularly going out running more then once a week. I need to up it to 2,3 times regularly.

Did yesterday’s abs and squats today! Hard work! I see no sign of a toned belly yet, still flabby  but got to hope it’s doing something as the provisional dates for track and field meets this summer came out the other day and I stand no chance of making the pit right now! Been messaging my old coach tonight who’s just recovered from cancer. Hopeful I can start running with him again and that we might get some TJ sessions in at the track soon, once restrictions loosen more.

Better excuse than “it’s raining” though, that some people use, isn’t it!? ☔️

Worked out I’ve so far averaged about 22k steps a day this week. Hoping it will burn off the 3 wispa gold bars I’ve eaten today

Honestly! LE (the prick) makes one post years ago and it's like a bloody millstone around my neck. That said, I did cry off last night but I am happy to report that it was a lovely evening. Starting again from tomorrow!

To be fair I've not run at all for ages, and haven't even bothered with an excuse.
Had a chat with some old dude at work today who does 50 milers and stuff and promised I'd run this weekend. Got home, hit the gin and Newcastle brown so maybe tomorrow.

Wagon has officially fallen apart, wheels off.

Pencilled in a cycle to Brighton in three weeks. Just need to turn it around.
