You have two sides, one out in the field and one in. Each man that's in the side that's in goes out, and when he's out he comes in and the next man goes in until he's out. When they are all out, the side that's out comes in and the side that's been in goes out and tries to get those coming in, out. Sometimes you get men still in and not out.
When a man goes out to go in, the men who are out try to get him out, and when he is out he goes in and the next man in goes out and goes in. There are two men called umpires who stay out all the time and they decide when the men who are in are out. When both sides have been in and all the men have been out, and both sides have been out twice after all the men have been in, including those who are not out, that is the end of the game

I'll use that tonight, I don't know who against yet, but it's bound to come in handy 8)

Less than 120 on the Board, 4 down. Again.

Time for a change methinks. Well, probably past time.

I'm almost afraid to keep checking. Hard to believe so much rot has set in since Cook and Trott were knocking it all over the park.

Huge session this for England. Must get to India's score and ideally a bit beyond it if we are honest.

We have to bat last so we need the advantage.

Golf on the TV, cricket on here. 267-7 at lunch. Still a bit finely poised but we're at the races..

Two quick tail end wickets and just one left with 310 behind. We can do it.

Really? 320 in the 4th innings?

We've managed that total once, in 1928....

Yeah ... right. Call be in an hour or so.

We have to bat incredibly well. We haven't bowled anywhere near well enough, especially in the first innings but today as well.

Missing Swann big time because even if he couldn't take wickets he tied an end up.

I'm not impressed with our seam attack. Spraying it all over the show at times.

We need to find a proper spinner, get them in the side and stick with him.,

Anyhow 319 is incredibly tough but not impossible if a couple get in and stick in. India big big favourites though as it stands.....

Is there an instrumental re-mix on the B-Side?

Time for Cook to find that elusive captain's innings and pull us out of the mire, methinks.

Another failure from Bell. As much as Cook is in the sights questions have to be asked of Bell's form too.

And another failure from Cook....

Will we ever win a test match again?

Dear me. 80 - 4?

I have more hope than expectation with Bell. Get's his eye in and he's generally away - IF he gets his eye in.

In fairness to Bell, at the minute, we really need him to, every time he comes to the wicket. 4 down again less than 150 on the board. Not good enough.
