Little Joe gets a bonanza (sorry about that.. ) 149 not out after hitting sixteen runs off four consecutive balls. Brilliant, brilliant innings from Root. 486 all out.

Telegraph guy reckons two of our tail-enders were given out on wrong decisions. What a shambles, and now rain stops play.

aye - a no-ball - and broad's glove was nowhere near his bat, so he shouldn't have been caught off it...

94 all out. We win by an innings and 244 runs - that's not even sport!

Re: creeeeeeeekeeeeeet
Some of it must go to our excellent bowling and fielding (well, actually batting too) but India folded like an origami model of an Italian tank. Utterly amazed at how weakly a national side performed. Almost as toothless as our football team. Hey, ho, I ain't being sad about such a great performance by our lads. Well done England...

Interesting times though now, that's for sure. We have a pile of one-dayers coming up in Sri Lanka but I suppose the acid test will be how we do / how well Cook does against New Zealand over here next year (fancy a day out in Taunton?) ahead of The Ashes series (No game int' north yet two in the midlands and one in the cricketing stronghold of Cardiff. 4ucking Cardiff )

We could probably have put them in again and won by two innings.Bruce Rioja wrote:94 all out. We win by an innings and 244 runs - that's not even sport!
