Belting weekend for Mr Rioja, all told then!
In a world that has decided
That it's going to lose its mind
Be more kind, my friends, try to be more kind.
That it's going to lose its mind
Be more kind, my friends, try to be more kind.

Unless he'd top-edged it that shot is a mile away (not literally, that'd be stupid) from the bat.Bruce Rioja wrote:See, we were taught to defend our head with our bat. What sort of a stroke's that?!
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

I was always taught to go after the short ball before it came to far up your body, mind you I do advance down the wicket at every opportunity which has made me look a mug on more than one occasion.
The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.

He'd leathered the previous two balls for sixes before he top-edged and the ball smacked him in the face and wedged in his helmet. Ouch......bobo the clown wrote:See. Love winning, but this toothless stuff from India is really disappointing. "Vijay's fairy-liquid hands"

Sam Sheringham, BBC Sport at The Oval
"India's latest wicket prompts little more than contented applause from the crowd in the Peter May Stand to the right of the Members' Pavilion. Are England fans wicket-weary after Old Trafford and now this? After all the bad times is this too much of a good thing? I reckon anyone with a ticket for Monday would certainly think so."
