Thanks Hoboh. Moving her to Wythenshawe for tests but only for a day. No news yet. Rather lonely just now but son, daughters and neighbours are saintly in their help.

All the best TD - I hope she makes a full recovery. She's literally in the best possible hands right now.

8 days now and still waiting for the angiogram (these things cost two grand privately, God Bless the N.H.S.) as they had a virus on the ward and had to isolate them all. Today was first visiting day since Wednesday but my two and a half year old granddaughter wasn't allowed to visit. Wife seems cheerful enough but I so want her home. Being hard of hearing doesn't help on the phone,, but family and neighbours great as ever. I keep praying.

I suppose one of the problems with hospitals that have wards is one tends to catch things that one didn't go in to fix. Fortunately in our new super hospital all admitted patients have a private room. Our older hsopitals are all "semi-private" which means one other person shares the room. No wards. I hope they pull their fonger out soon and do the tests for Mrs. T.

Thanks Monty. Yes, my wife is in a side room of the main Ward (a different one) and all though I can't visit, my son and daughter can and I got my hearing aid sorted so We could talk. Just hope something happens soon, but thanks for the good wishes.

I know the club need funds and that tastes vary as to what's included, but this is surely a bit extreme...?

They're not raising money for the club, they're raising it for the 2 charities...

Wife's been released from hospital today. She'll be on permanent medication, but thank God she's okay. Thanks also from us both to all who wished her well. God Bless.

Great news, Tango. I have to take bloodthiners and other pills every day. I call them eternity pills.

I'm finding it hard to believe a supposedly sensible senior British politician said this:

"To attack worshippers at a synagogue on Holocaust Memorial Day, and during Shabbat, is horrific. We stand with our Israeli friends," British Foreign Secretary James Cleverly wrote on Twitter.

Is it okay to attack them any other time?
