Re: General Chit Chat
One week in and Euro 2016 has already delivered some intriguing ironies, the most spectacular one being Cristiano Ronaldo complaining about over-celebration after Iceland enjoyed taking a point against Portugal on Tuesday night. We’d recommend Ronaldo take a long hard look at himself in the mirror if we didn’t know that he already spends several hours a day doing exactly that.

You post in the guardian Bruce?
I saw this, peed myself and thought it straight out of your book.

Pop star Bob Geldof? He was arguably never a star, and what little fame he enjoyed was transient and a long time ago. A more appropriate description might be self serving, loquacious millionaire bell end
Re: General Chit Chat
Though Bruce would have slipped in how the Boomtown Rats is a belting album, despite Bob's loquacious egregiousness

Boomtown Rats, A Tonic for the Troops and The Fine Art of Surfacing are all indeed fine albums. Geldoff is a bit of a cock, mind.Prufrock wrote:Though Bruce would have slipped in how the Boomtown Rats is a belting album, despite Bob's loquacious egregiousness

I appreciate that it would be ungracious of me to wonder how well he paid himself for his charity work, so I won't. I just want to point out that I'm not doing.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Don't think it'd be an unreasonable question. How much was it?

Regarding the terrible murder of the young MP Jo Cox near Leeds, what on Earth is a "homemade gun" ??

Apparently, they are not very difficult to make just not very accurate past a few feet and quite dangerous to whoever uses them.bobo the clown wrote:Regarding the terrible murder of the young MP Jo Cox near Leeds, what on Earth is a "homemade gun" ??
I believe quite a few drug gangs used them.

They can be made using 3D printers nowadays. The only metal part of the gun (detectable in airport security for instance) is the firing pin.

Watched Andy Murray win the Queens Cup, but the other young Canadian guy will surely be back in finals again. Has a fierce serve that Murray struggled with at times. Very good win by Murray in the end, 6-7,6-4,6-3.

Your typical Canadian - born in Montenegro and lives in Monaco! I think he is ranked in the top 10 in the world.TANGODANCER wrote:Watched Andy Murray win the Queens Cup, but the other young Canadian guy will surely be back in finals again.
