I have both on a bracket on the back of the tv so it and both wires cannot be seen.
I love the minimalistic look. No wires

Re: Technology Thread.
You have two for one TV??
I have just put our tele on the wall in the bedroom, managed to fish he power and arial cables through the cavity but sacked off the sky box because there's nowhere to put it, plus it's unsightly and it's never been switched on for months anyway! One of these Apple jobs will tick behind nicely.

Sounds like we have the same idea on how we want a tv on the wall with no wires in sight. I put an aerial socket and ran a spur up the wall behind the tv.
Rocket science to some. Piece of piss really.

I have a television in the bedroom. As far as rarely-if-ever used wastes of money go it's right up there with the George Foreman Grill.thebish wrote:I don't really get the TV in bedroom thing - that's what the sitting room is for!

The telly in the bedroom is an absolute necessity. Freda can watch shoite downstairs, leaving me to watch decent programmes elsewhere.

I went looking for an Apple MacBook Pro yesterday. Cost around £995.
Apple store in the US, $995. I make that around 300 quid less. Anyone going to the States in the next week or so?

You might need to be more specific, Bob, as prices vary according to Ghz required and whether you want retina display. Here the price range is Can. $1199-$1899.Bijou Bob wrote:I went looking for an Apple MacBook Pro yesterday. Cost around £995.

my life is in serious need of some whip-it-into-shape organisation...
I know I am probably about 5yrs behind the game - but i am now about let Evernote take over my life... (in association with asana)
does anyone on here use Evernote? If so - what's the best thing it does for you - the most useful way you have found to use it??

Think in terms of a digital "jotter"/diary. Can embed photos in, share etc. etc. and you're just about there.Bruce Rioja wrote:Is it now?!Worthy4England wrote:It's like OneNote...
