Not really related to this baby thread, but the mention of knitting reminded me of something.

I was flying back from Brussels last Friday and a group of lads and dad's boarded and sat close to me. They sounded Swedish and most of the lads were wearing Lioverpool tops, probably on their way to Anfield I thought. Anyway, just after we landed, I glanced to the left and noticed one of the lads, who was about 11, was fully engrossed in knitting a blue and white striped bobble hat. Weird.
