The "kill a white man" obviously wasn't serious. But can you imagine someone using the same on a black man or woman ? There'd be a return to hunting with dogs on whoever wrote it. "It was a joke" wouldn't cut much ice.

The demand that certain events should exclude white males were unlikely to be a joke. Overstepping herself maybe but I'm certain she meant it.

mass shootings in America are very rarely referred to as "terrorism" even when dozens are shot dead or blown up in a political cause (like at abortion clinics and such)...

i have no idea of the motivation for this one - but you're right - it is now so common in America as not really to be considered all that newsworthy...
