Mike Smith, DJ & TV presenter from my youth.
It does mean Sarah Greene's back in the game though !! Y'know ... looking on the bright side.

I read this news, and the first thing I thought was that joke about Sarah Greene complaining that Mike Smith couldn't get his chopper up.bobo the clown wrote:http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-28623367

I am clearly a very bad person, and should be offering my condolences to people I don't know and will never meet.
Oh well.

Robin Williams. Aged 63 ... In an "apparent suicide". Wow. You just have no idea do you.
A great actor, "Dead Poet's Society" was great but I do have a great soft spot for "Good Morning Vietnam !!".
Nanu, nanu little man.

Knocked me for six, that. The man was a born entertainer. RIP

Yup, all the weirder that it seemed to be a hoax at first. DPS is ace, regardless of whether it's a History Boys rip-off.

I thought History Boys was this millennium?

So it is, I must have got them confused, and folk say History Boys is a DPS rip off!

Very sad to hear about this loss this morning. Loved his work right from Mork & Mindy onwards, but without a doubt my favourite was Mrs Fire.

Robin Williams, thank you for the laughter, the world is a poorer place for your passing, RIP.

Re: This weeks RIP's........
he was a great talent, i loved some of his stand up stuff especially. film wise Mrs Doubtfire is a classic but One Hour Photo is the favourite.
Re: This weeks RIP's........
I always liked his 'serious' stuff more. One Hour Photo, Insomnia, Awakenings. Favourite ever film of his was probably 'World's Greatest Dad', really, really dark comedy. Gutted.General Mannerheim wrote:he was a great talent, i loved some of his stand up stuff especially. film wise Mrs Doubtfire is a classic but One Hour Photo is the favourite.

Similar names, both with a history of mental illness. Somewhat understandable mistake!Bruce Rioja wrote:Here you go, mate.General Mannerheim wrote:Gutted. Thought it said Robbie Williams
