You have now triggered a cats are wonderful thread Will which will be followed by every pet anyone on the forum has although I do agree with you that most dogs are brilliant. They provide company for those old and young and have even helped blind people cross the street.
The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.

What's pissed you off today then, WtW?

I've been meaning to start a thread on this subject for a while. It's probably my age, but my canines must be moving around to an extent that during meals, they now trap copious amounts of food between them. I really need to get them under control. Now where did I put the number for the dentist?

I'm here all week folks.
Hope is what keeps us going.

Yes Hopeful ... but now tell the site what your dog did this week.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

So, our dog pissed on our bed, twice in a week (or so Mrs H would have me believe, but I was working away so I couldn't be sure that Mrs H hadn't done it). But our dog's going through a difficult patch. Apparently, these are tell tail signs that she's stressed out that Mrs H has got a part time job and isn't there for her couple of days a week. Bless.

Under the same circumstances, a cat would have simply 'cocked a snook' at us and buggered off to the neighbour's for ever. Arrogant tw*ts.
Hope is what keeps us going.

I slept on the couch until 3am the other morning because the bloody dog was snoring so loudly upstairs!

They don't kill pie eaters though do they (admittedly that was one bad incident).

Mind you dogs don't run away every time you move house. Im having a bit of a dilemma here. Personally I love cats and dogs, slightly prefer cats.

Well start a cat thread and stay off here then!

Would love a whippet or two, one day - my favourite dogs. Boxers & the much maligned and frequently abandoned Staffies coming a close 2nd. Be hard not to rescue another mongrel though, as there's so many needing homes :(
