Boyhood Heroes
Suggested by a kids programme mention in another thread. Who were your boyhood heroes? Post em up...
Two real dapper and debonair champions of righteousness of mine were:
Dick Barton, Special Agent:
and...Bulldog Drummond. Real action men, dastardly villains and sultry maidens back then.

I couldn't get enough of Dan Dare, and followed Sergeant Luck and Jeff Arnold closely.

There's a film being made about the Coe/Ovett rivalry coming out, starring Harry Potter as Coe! Based on Pat Butcher's (no, not Frank's missus) brilliant book The Perfect Distance, which I'd recommend to any sports fan.
