Terrible weather today. Froome has had to abandon after falling twice :( not even hit the cobblestones yet either.

I wonder how Wiggins feels about that ?
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Probably nothing as he has NO HEART.

This stage is carnage. Van den Broeck just flipped completely over on the cobbles.

Froome clearly had trouble from the off after his fall yesterday (shouldn't have been in that position on tuesday in the peloton anyroad, but watevs). No way he could handle his bike after the crashes yesterday.

Anyway...hmm, interesting.

photo finish!

feel sorry for van garderen. the young murcan crashed 10k out and ended up losing a minute on the GC. Couple of big hits in the last k too, but they'll get the same time.

Couldn't be arsed starting a new thread. A nasty looking crash on today's stage. Gonna be a few retirements after that methinks. Ouch!

Yowzers. Having stood at the side of the road once as a cycle race came through it gave me a real appreciation as to how fast these guys are moving. It must be like coming off a motorbike............................. but in Lycra.
