Thought that one or two of you might be interested in this, by the way. It's a record of when all the innings in test history 'Extras' has been the leading run-scorer. As such, The Aussie's first innings yesterday was the first time in Ashes history. :D

I'm going to utilise the Lenny philosophy here. We've lost England's all-time highest ever international wicket-taker, but we have some pasty kid from Oldham's Estate with a sticking plaster over his left lense to fill the void!

This is where having Jimmy in would have been a major plus. Let's have just one or two straight down the middle lads. Despite great catches, run-outs or stumpings, there is nothing more satisfying than scattering the stumps and bails in all directions.

Just a case of patience and keeping at em. There was never a chance of a second capitulation like the first innings. We've done the damage and now we just need to be professional.

We then appeal for one that was 2 foot wide of the bat. Thankfully we didn't review it.
