Currently the bok are making it hard work against Japan, showing that the opening fixture against what ever opposition can be tough.

Tonight will be interesting to see what the French do against an Italian side without their talisman Parrise.

ha!! :D enjoy it while you can - it may not last - Japan 13 12 South Africa!! :oyea:

Japan have been absolutely incredible so far. 14 man maul!

If their fitness holds up (that's a large if) then this second half could be very interesting. South Africa looking poor but their forwards are hard to handle

Get in Japan!
In a world that has decided
That it's going to lose its mind
Be more kind, my friends, try to be more kind.

Magnificent Japanese Bastards!

The levels of Schadenfreude experienced from watching South Africans lose at things is only marginally less than those from watching Australians lose at things.

Watched France and Italy last night. Not very clear cut, a game of penalties mainly. Having a look at Samoa and the good old U.S of A right now. Very er, enthusiastic.... :)

Edit, Italy....

It was a good match last night, the French look physically strong. It's going to be a good match when they play Ireland.

Half two I want to see lots of Uruguayan thuggery and aggression.

Samoa v USA. With no preferences whatsoever I was able to enjoy that. Far better than I thought it might be.

Impressive demolition job by the Welsh. Cedit to Uruguay for keeping fighting, but they were steam-rollered by a highly efficient machine.

good! :D

I reckon NZ would have put 80pts past that Uruguay side... but it can sometimes be disruptive to play against poor sides - Wales did look less clinical than they might need to be in other games...

Expected an All Black win, but the score was respectable and the Argies defended very well most of the time. Even to my inexperienced eye, some of their ( Argies) forward play looked a bit nieve and hopeful at times. Good scrap though with plenty effort and commitmant.

Discipline is costing the Japanese at the moment. Set up for a cracking second half though

Great tackle by Goromaru at the end
