The site I'm overseeing is directly behind the London Eye so within 500 metres of this. Fortunately today is my day off but my office has been on lockdown all afternoon.

I was on my day off during the 7/7 attacks too.

Sounds a bit suspicious....

An aside, but a former colleague of a friend was an Actuary working at the World Trade Center who rang in sick on the 11th September 2001. The counselling he's received ever since is unlike anything I've ever heard of.
