Was trying to find a video I'd seen the other day about vets trying to save a rhino who had its horn removed - and said rhino had tears running down its cheeks. Was on facebook but now can't find it. But it was harrowing.

Then whilst searching came across this from last year...

https://www.thedodo.com/in-the-wild/bab ... ead-mother

Truly horrific. Heartbreaking. I just do not understand how these people can do that.

Neither can I. But they do, on a daily basis.

I've got to the stage where I can't even watch the horrors some very sick people inflict on dumb animals.

I expect that Her Majesty will be furious - unless her remit does not extend to the Aberdeen.

It's mostly a myth about swans and the Queen.

I wandered over to WA the other day. The black swans laughed, sniggered and then chuckled something that sounded like 'fowl racist bastards'

I read that with the sort of disgust his cowardice deserves. If he wants to hunt lions, give him a spear and send him out there one to one...End of.

Maybe we could get these trophy hunters to shoot dead our beef cattle from a range of one to two inches ... Satisfies me: wankers get to be wankers. Animals get to be dead for useful reasons and with minimum suffering. Win, win, win. Apart from knowing there are knobheads out there pursuing it as a hobby....

I saw that video the other day. It’s obviously an awful thing to do, but I can’t come close to understanding WHY someone would want to do it? I’ve been to Africa and tracking the animals and then seeing them in the wild was magical. I can’t see how anyone at that point would then see popping a couple of bullets in their brain and ending their life as a wonderful thing to do, and then have fun posing with the dead animal that has just been going about it’s business. It’s genuinely baffling how people can even thing that’s an ok thing to do, let alone do it themselves.

It's because there's something wrong with their heads.

I've been around a long time, seen a lot of things, good, bad and ugly. This made my eyes wet:

BBC News - Fox cruelty: South Herefordshire Hunt pair found guilty
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-h ... r-48584227

Found guilty but basically let off. Paul 'fxckface' Oliver, aged 40, and his shagbag 30 year old live-in-bitch 'kennel maid' Hannah Rose, of Sutton Crosses, near Spalding, and of kennels in Wormelow. Ordered to pay £415 for taking, torturing, and throwing to hounds to be killed, two fox cubs.
That'll be two they've been caught red-handed on film with then.
I'd quite like to transport the cxnts by the neck, to the lion enclosure at whipsnade.

I read this and my first thought was - what's the judge's view on fox hunting? What a c*nt.
