The beers in Munich are all decent especially from the providers to the Oktoberfest. Lowenbrau, Spaten, Hofbrau, Augustiner, Hacker-Pschorr and Paulaner, not a morning after headache amongst 'em. Must be that Purity law which I suspect means they don't pump them full of half the shite we allow in ours.Burnden Paddock wrote: ↑Wed Mar 24, 2021 6:56 pmI’m going to add....Burnden Paddock wrote: ↑Wed Mar 24, 2021 10:36 am1. Trooper
2. Timothy Taylor's Landlord
I'll work on the rest.
3. Erdinger Weissbier - especially when supped in Munich airport whilst waiting for mates, before one of the most memorable games in the clubs history. (Great shout dtm)
4. Marston’s Pedigree
5. Menabrea
That could change tomorrow!

Yeah, I’m still a teenage girl when it comes to alcohol. Smirnoff ice too. Don’t mind a glass of wine but not a beer fan and I’d happily give up alcohol completely and not miss it one bit. Re: Top 5 of all time...
Best games you’ve attended.
1. Arsenal 5-0 Burnley 17/18 season. My son was mascot at Wengers last ever home game. An absolutely unforgettable day in every way.
2. Arsenal 3-1 Spurs 96/97 season - a rainy November Sunday afternoon at Highbury sat with a Spurs supporting mate. Scored 2 cracking goals via Adams and Bergkamp in the last few minutes to win 3-1. Never been in an atmosphere like it. Electrifying. If we are going purely on the football, this would take no 1 spot.
3. Arsenal 1-1 Everton 94/95 season No one forgets their first do they? Even if my dad did stand up and clap their equaliser as ‘it was a good goal’.
4. Arsenal - Manchester United late 90’s - Charity shield final. Went with my mate Cat to Wembley on a boiling hot day and sat right at the top of the stadium, yelled abuse at Teddy Sheringham. We beat them. Happy day.
5. Arsenal 5-2 Spurs 2011/2012 season. 2 down and won 5-2. Cracking game. Love beating Spurs.
And at number 6. Arsenal 3-1 AIK solna 99/00
season. Back when we were playing our CL games at Wembley. Scored 2 very late on to win it and my mate Chaz and I danced on the seats afterwards with several thousand Arsenal fans.
Lots of happy memories of our double and invincible seasons too! Them were the days!

And BP started another category too. I’m not doing beer. We can have 2 categories on the go? Or is that confusing to you?!

NOTHING gets in the way of beer! Nothing to do with can or can't multi-task. I often have two pints on the go at once. That's multi tasking.Burnden Paddock wrote: ↑Wed Mar 24, 2021 8:05 pmMulti-tasking Worthy! Let’s prove us blokes can do it!

1. Thwaite, circa mid 90s from the Crown & Thistle - a much needed pint when visiting up north from London
2. Joseph Holts - proper good pint
3. Wainwright - excellent summer thirst quencher
4. Badger Fursty Ferret - a current favourite
5. Paulaner - for when I fancy summat foreign
Ask me next week and you'd likely get a different answer

Are we talking chocolate biscuits that come individually wrapped? I’m assuming chocolate digestives are another of your weird and not so wonderful categories!Gooner Girl wrote: ↑Wed Mar 24, 2021 7:39 pmYeah, I’m still a teenage girl when it comes to alcohol. Oh do keep up! Yes, ‘chocolate biscuits’ individually wrapped in multi packs that you’d have in yer lunchbox! Clubs and wagon wheels etc! Chocolate digestives would be in the ‘biscuits’ category.Burnden Paddock wrote: ↑Wed Mar 24, 2021 8:37 pmAre we talking chocolate biscuits that come individually wrapped? They’re all chocolate biscuits! I don’t have a lunch box (does anyone these days) and don’t take chocolate biscuits for lunch. Thanks for the clarification, oh great categoriser.Gooner Girl wrote: ↑Wed Mar 24, 2021 8:42 pmOh do keep up!
