what i have to put my foot down on is advent calenders that aren't xmas related, you know just with spongebob squarearse on or just snickers logo. does my tits in

Ginge raises an excellent point. As a child, myself and two brothers took it in turns every day to open a window of the advent calender, and what lay behind was a Christmas scene and not a 'fun-sized Mars Bar' or whatever (and since when has 'fun' been a unit of measure?).

I don't actually know who or what 'Spongebob Squarearse' is, but I don't recall such a character in our nativity play!
