Ham.....it goes with a variety of things, including my favourite....cheese and the bright yellow stuff, picallilly :P , fantastic!! Tuna is best with mayo and sweetcorn on a piping hot, butter jacket spud

I'll go for ham but tunas good too.

Mmm sandwiches. My favourite food.

I'm partial to a nice crisp butty. Back to basics...

Got to be Walkers Ready-salted, or ready-salted squares on well buttered white bread.. MMmmmmmmm.

Pesronal preference:

Ham on fresh buttered bread, liberal coating of Colemans's English Mustard, thin slices of raw onion. Superb.

Tuna needs a little lettuce and thin sliced tomato or cucumber seved on a fresh roll. Touch of salt and pepper.

Try putting mayo too even better. Crisp don't fall off.

Ham has to be the most boring and bland sandwich filler possible. At best a bit of honey roast fleshes out a good cheese and branston, but it's tame stuff.

Tuna is where it's at. Gregg's Tuna Crunch on wholemeal, Sainsbury's Tuna Neopolitana on Ciabatta. Now those are tasty.

Has it really come to this? Has the banality of life reduced the human race to intense sandwich debate?

Not happy with tuna at all. Dear me no.

Yer best butty is a 'tater pie butty. Failing that, a fishfinger butty. Or, if you're "relaxed" of an evening, peanut butter/cheese/ketchup. Don't knock it till you've tried it.

I'm afraid so.

The answer is neither ham or tuna though.
Cheese - it's the daddy.

Any cheese. Any sandwich.

Only if it's large slabs of Cheddar, with Branston Pickle.

You've been drawn in.

Apparently the original Lennon was partial to jam butties, and who can blame him?

By 'jam' he actually meant Cheese and Branston Pickle.

Fish fingers and peanut butter.

Or, peanut butter, strawberry jam, cheddar cheese (mature) and salad cream.

Thank you and good night :D

It worked, I'm hungry. Hot dog sausages and mustard on bread fingers right now. Sort of mini Reebok Dogs.
