Gone a bit too far I think.
One flag is enough to show your support.

We decided to buy one of the car flags as littlemc wanted one, we decided to go for a test drive to see how our flag looked.
Littlemc was in the back and could not see the flag properly, so decided to open the window for a better look :( .

Same thing with the Rugby World Cup and The Ashes. Psuedo supporters pour out of the woodwork and go bananas who never bother if it isn't a glory trail. Just an excuse to party. Wonder if he supports England outside of the World Cup?

I voted before I actually saw the picture. Think I'll change my vote as they are only asking him to tone it down, not remove all the flags. No class about that. Always one in every street who tears the ass out of it.

Neither - it's the neighbour who has complained. It's a council estate so it's hardly going to look fantastic to start with, and those flgs will be up there for about a month, so why moan? Killjoy.

The council have been reasonable and just told him to take a few down to keep the moaning get quiet.

Seems to me the council handled things reasonably. Whether the man was OTT or normal for Weirside I wouldn't like to speculate. Ditto the neighbours.

To me the peeps in wrong are the moaners

The council seem to have done the least they could get away with.
The guy (while i personally would'nt plaster my house with flags) should be allowed to do what he wants to his own home (as long as it isn't like the Christmas decos that are still up in Highfield ;) in June)

I feckin 8te the moaners who have nowt else to do except rant on about other peeps behavious (see the irony ;) ;) )
