Jinx Alert - Cisse breaks leg AGAIN

Poor (wife-beating) bloke

France striker Djibril Cisse suffered a suspected broken leg in Les Bleus' last warm-up game for the World Cup finals.

The Liverpool star was involved in a collision with a defender after 12 minutes of the game against China and was stretchered off after a sickening landing on his right leg.

The injury appeared to be very serious, giving coach Raymond Domenech severe cause for concern with France's opening game coming against Switzerland on June 13.

If the bad news regarding the former Auxerre man is confirmed, then Domenech will have until 5pm on June 12 to name a replacement for his squad.

Cisse suffered a career-threatening broken leg whilst playing for The Reds against Blackburn in October 2004 and Domenech will be sweating on the news of the latest injury which looks likely to bring an end to his striker's World Cup dream.

No, it's the other one, according to the radio.

The BBC are reporting it as 'an open fracture of the tibia'. Poor sod. He missed the last WC through suspension it seems. Add to that his previous break and he's not having a great time. I don't think it'll help his (rumoured) move back to Europe either.

I recall that Giuly was so upset at being left out of the squad and felt so disrespected by Domenech that he said he would not come even if he was called up due to injury.

In normal speed you can hear the bone snap as he is right next to a mic.

His leg bones must be made up of sticks.

I think Cisse would advertise milk quite well.

Drink milk and have strong healthy bones kids otherwise this will happen: 'queue horrific images'

I enjoyed the use of the word 'suspected' in that article.
