now read this - http://www.swansea-res.org.uk/news.html
They attracted vermin to our streets!
When they’d finished bouncing fruit down our streets, the messy film crew did little to clean up. Fruit rots quickly and attracts all manner of vermin. In fact, Margaret Jones reported seeing a fight between a rat and a pigeon over a Granny Smith at the bottom of Cambridge Street.

A cheap pop for that Tango Dancer fellow? Seemed to upset the locals who wrote: Y WEFAN CYMDEITHAS TRIGOLION GOGLEDD ABERTAWE.
Right.
Actually I would think the company liable for a lot of damages.

Great spoof site that. Tango are good at a bit of joined up thinking when it comes to their campaigns, quality work.

I had never seen the Sony ad so didn't see the humour. However a quick check revealed it at

The Secretary of the Association is described as: Local cycle shop owner Steve is the only Welshman to have completed the Tour de France 7 times, but is perhaps best known for his ‘On yer bike son’ family charity rides initiative. Local ladies have noted that ‘Super-fit Steve’ always wears his brightly-coloured lycra whether he’s out for a ride – or just popping out for a pint of milk!

Ahh, quality of the ad aside, I've been trying to find out for a while now what the tune is and who it's by. Anybody any clue? :conf:

The adverts really launched his career, in the UK and apparantly hes fairly big in the states too, his album is excellent as a piece of easy listening chill out music for a lazy sunday afternoon on the hammock, I thoroughly recommend it

Cheers, Boris.

Exactly what I was hoping for.

Well that's the album on order, now to find a hammock and a lazy Sunday afternoon.

Very appropriate - I think he had an earlier album "Stay in the Shade".

Nope. Only the one album and 2 EPs from Jose... if anyone knows the pub in Manchester called The Bowling Green... well, I watched him there a year ago... and now? Filling out the Apollo and headlining The Green Man festival (which I will also be attending).
