I'm thinking that there aren't all that many people that have turned in today. This morning it only took 45 minutes to get from my house in Manny, to my office in Leeds, yesterday it took two hours.
I'm just hoping that it'll be the same on the way back. Leaving here just before 4.00 to get home in time. I'll be watching it on my own though like the boy with nay pals!

Only three different pairs including the ones that came with it.
And yes, I did turn the TV on.
And yes, I did point it at the television.
And yes, it will be going back tomorrow after the game.
And yes, I won't be buying anything from Amazon again if the replacement is no better
And yes, I do usually buy from Dabs.

Ahh, schoolboy error I'm afraid, LGM. You've missed a key component. You've neglected to wrap a piece of bright blue insulation tape around it, an absolutely essential piece of kit.Little Green Man wrote:

Thought that was a little early, Batty, until I remembered that in England a brew is tea, not beer as it is over here. My day is work (sort of) until lunchtime and watch the game (which I called as 3-0 in my prediction league which may have been a little overconfident).Batman wrote:Batman's World Cup Day

You mean like chip shop staff wear to stop the scabs on their fingers dropping in the oil?Bruce Rioja wrote:Ahh, schoolboy error I'm afraid, LGM. You've missed a key component. Our TVs (which may be a little different) require programming the remote before it will work. This involves pointing it away from the TV at opposite wall and pushing certain buttons. It means reading the instructions I'm afraid (and in my case asking my son to do it) but that might be the problem.Little Green Man wrote:You mean like chip shop staff wear to stop the scabs on their fingers dropping in the oil?Bruce Rioja wrote:Ahh, schoolboy error I'm afraid, LGM. I'm worried Bruce. Everybody seems to be leaving between 3.00 & 4.00. The M62/M60/M61 is going to be packed. Feck it - i'm going at 2.30.Bruce Rioja wrote:I'm thinking that there aren't all that many people that have turned in today. Nothing in the Troubleshooting about programming the remote. Nothing in the Quick Setup either. Never had to do it with other TVs before. I'm considering going back to being a Luddite.Montreal Wanderer wrote: Our TVs (which may be a little different) require programming the remote before it will work.
