I'll help you guys out. There are ten possible questions from this show -Living in the Spotlight - (I've never heard of it but it appears to be part two of the princess diaries) but competitive trivia types may wish to learn them. The ten questions and answers are found at http://www.funtrivia.com/en/subtopics/L ... 43490.html
Can we change from mixed bag to general knowledge at the end of the month? Or history and geography?

Oy! I have no idea about half of this crap either. I think it's the submitting the questions bit that is dodgy in the 1st place.

Was it a Leap Summer to catch up with some error on the Gregorian calendar caused by the Cathar heresy?

Isn't that the day when the quiz has no bible questions, no US sport questions, and a question on a book you may actually have heard of?

Damnation. Hoolio just beat me by two seconds with the same score and I dropped 7 points. Grrrh!

Montreal Wanderer wrote:What a very nasty selection I got today. What do people from Adelaide mean when they say the Bay? Surely only an Aussie could answer that - I mean it's not even Sydney FFS. I also got the Tibby type question (guessed right) and some 1980s band song title (which I guessed wrong). One American sports question which I could answer but so could everyone on the board I think. I'm having a lot more trouble this month.
I didn't get that question. Do we all get different questions when we log onto the site??
Yes, they have a bunch of questions in every category. Mixed bag pulls a random selection for each person who logs on in our group. This prevents someone from logging on under an alias, such as bingle, finding out all the answers for that day and then getting 10/10 in 30 seconds. At least that is how I understand it, having discussed it with Sluffy who probably figured it out. I have had quite a few Aussie questions, but no Canadian ones in the last month.
That being the case the league tables have little meaning, I appreciate that they are trying to stop chaeting, but if we all get different questions then we are not comparing like with like. Even so good fun.

I don't get many Oz questions but quite a few North American ones, perhaps their system is very intelligent and uses our e.mail country adress to avoid giving us too many questions related to our own Country?
