Thank you and good night.

the use of pseudo Irish words (spelt wrong) to try to persuade the world how much fun you are is far from convincing...

Look at me - I'm fun I am - look at us - we're a right laugh we are... (repeat ad nauseam....) look at how many of us are online at any given time - it shows what fun we are... errr.. or that we spend all our time in front of a computer screen because we have nothing better to do and no real friends to talk to....

err...

great "crack" (sic) lads...

Oh dear Bob - what a fanny you are... the spelling "spelt" is a perfectly legitimate past participle of the verb "to spell" - so I don't catch your illiteracy accusation..

perhaps you could explain?

(enjoy your crack - but keep it to yourself, eh?)

Aye.
From Webster's online dictionary ( a more acceptable source than google)
Main Entry: 2spelt
Pronunciation: 'spelt
chiefly British past and past participle of SPELL
"If you cannot answer a man's argument, all it not lost; you can still call him vile names. " Elbert Hubbard.

Nope. 'Crack' is a word, spelled as such, as ingrained in the language and culture of the North-East as 'craic' is across the Irish Sea.

It can often be found alongside another popular North Easten colloquialism 'canny', an adjective of often varying meanings. In conjunction with 'crack' it would generally be used to describe the high levels of enjoyment an individual has taken from a conversation, event, etc.

Canny crack: noun, colloq.: Enjoyable discussion.
See also: craic, chow-on
Antonym: The Trotters

hahahahahahahahah - Bob, you rely on Google for your English education??

look down that Google list of yours and you'll see that they're all nouns - because it's a list of definitions (go and look up the word "noun" and "definition" in a real dictionary.)

"spelt" is also the commonly used British past participle of the verb "to spell".

y'see - being on the internet all day proving what a jolly funny little fellow you are has really ruined your education..

Yes, I rely on Google for my English education, and information on French military history. Your point?

nice one son... except the English lesson was from Mr Bob who questionned my spelling of "spelt" - he is (apparently) the Google professor of incorrect correction.

tell us though - how excited are you about getting Big Sam as manager?
