you honestly think so? i think their first was a decent enough debut, but nothing as special as people were making it out to be. their second is just standing on foundations of the smatterings of corporate indie cheese directed at 17 year old girls that was found in the first.

Never got into Razorlight... They're alright I 'spose.....

I don't like the single (in the morning?). I don't like the way he sings the line "your sheets are dirty too".. It almost sounds like he's trying to burp the lyric.

Coldplay rule!

Most peeps i know who say "Coldplay yawn boring shite" change their tune once they have listened a few more times. Have you listened to much or immediately turned it off?

Yellow best song that means absolutely fook all, i know. (Not best song ever i hasten to add. To explain IMHO just the best song that really is a nonsense lyrically. He wrote it cos he had a yellow pages nearby and it fit the song (song inspired by lookng at the stars and someone saying "look at the stars......") !!!!!)

coldplay are majorly overrated...

if you want decent homegrown music, check out The Music, Bloc Party and a very new only just been signed welsh band called Los Campesinos. They're amazing. They have a myspace page if you want to hear some material. They sound very Arcade Fire (which is never a bad thing).

And if you haven't already, check out The Arcade Fire too. Amazing band from Canada.

Canada too, there's some good bands - Broken Social Scene, Neutral Milk Hotel, Arcade Fire just to name 3. Rush for classic prog rock.

What in God's name are you thinking? Rancid release samey punk songs year in year out, The Transplants being an extension of that creative dam they call innovation. The Distillers can release a good song but no...get out. And as for the others I have no idea, but let me guess, typical mainstream punk?
