Going Nowhere

Post by Batman » Tue Oct 03, 2006 4:15 pm

Feeling like me job is going nowhere.

Working alongside complete mongtards (copyright whoever), doing a pish job.

I need something new.

I fancy doing something more active than sitting in an office, and damn it I need the money elsewhere.

Someone give me a job

You sound like how I feel Batty…. I’ve been in my job too long and I’m sooo disheartened with it. I’ve been trying over the last few weeks to improve my attitude so that I’m more positive and enjoy work more, but it’s wearing off pretty fast. I didn’t expect to end up in this kind of role it was a bit of an accident, and I’m feeling pretty low.

I’d love to work for myself, I’d love to run my own ski chalet in the French Alps, or run a B&B in the village where my folks live in Cumbria. Alas neither of my great plans has come to anything and I’m fed up as ever. I need to get out my rut!!! Batty if you get help, let me know and I’ll come with you.

Is this perhaps not the best time for me to wallow in self-congratulation then? I'm just about to type up my resignation letter having been headhunted for my dream position.

Yeah well done Bruce I'm really made up for you.

Headhunted sounds so gruesome though... Like someone is throwing spikes at you.

What ever it is that pricks your fancy Batty, just go and do it!! Don't fxck around with it. Tell Robin and Albert to poke it and get out there! Try and find something that let's you see something/somewhere new every single day.

If your commited enough, nothing is impossible!!!!!
