Prison Overcrowding - a former Home Secretary's solution
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".

That'd work, along with deporting the thousands of illegal immigrants sat in detention centres and prisons awaiting their third appeal.
Not quite the Aussie philosop[hy but once the request had been turned down, or once the Eastern Europeans had committed their first criminal act then.....fook off!!!!!!
That'd sort out all kinds of problems.

He probably said it jokingly but its not that far off what should be done.
Caught for crimes = Jail, crimes in Jail = more jail. Hardly a scary prospect for those doing time. Whereas a machine gun would shut people up.
Its the same for persistent offenders. I don't think we should have to put up with people coming and going from jails commiting the same crimes they were imprisoned for. They do it 4 or 5 times then we should be able to sever their limbs or put them down. After all we don't have rabid dogs biting children, why should we have crazed criminals robbing people.
