A new book has listed the TV all-time hall of shame, but what's your worst crime commited in the name of telly?
I mean, does anyone remember 'Full Swing' with Jimmy Tarbuck? Or how about anything involving Jim Davidson? F***ing Hollyoaks?

Whoever thought up Big Brother, Celebrity Love Island and all such ilk should be locked in a room and made to watch repeats for the rest of their lives. The same applies to Dimbodale, Cockneyenders, Casualty, Wetherfield pub special and all the rest of the crap soaps including the Aussie invasion. Billy Connelly had it dead right about Big Brother: "People in a room watching people in a room? Get a fxxxxxg life"

So bad, it was good
Late night Friday, ITV, early 80s**
** Gratuitous nudity helped, obviously

For me it would have to be the most cringeworthy thing ever to appear in my living room - Who's line is it anyway. Basically the show comprised a bunch of dreadfully unfunny people such as Tony Slattery, Josie Lawrence and Mike (you're not laughing so I'll talk louder coz that'll make me funny) McShane and assorted other unfunny types trying to tackle comedy at it's most difficult - improvisation - but succeeding only in embarrassing themselves and the viewer by showing how truly out of their depths and hopelessly unfunny they were. Occasionally, and for reasons best known to themselves, genuinely witty people would appear on it such as Stephen Fry. No wonder he ran off into hiding, he must have seen a re-run.
Utterly appalling, I've seen funnier improvised comedy at Christmas panto's.

it was very very crap and one scene had his bare ass making love to some fish eggs to get a mermaid pregnant

I've seen that Hollyoaks, and from it I've deduced that everyone in Chester is stunningly beautiful, in much the same way that I now know that if I ever move to New York I'll be able to afford a fabulous, huge appartment regardless of whether I'm employed or not.
