Vale Clay Regazzoni
I was saddened this morning to hear of the death in a motor vehicle accident of 'Clay' Regazzoni, the Swiss ex-F1 driver.
As many of you are no doubt aware he was confined to a wheelchair after an accident at the US circuit Long Beach many years ago. Clay was an ebullient sort of fellow and brought a lot to the F1 circus during his time within it. He was also a good driver - particularly when he drove for Ferrari and Williams.
