Lewis Mcgugan Video
Just seen us linked with a loan move for Lewis Mcgugan, and come across this video of all his goals/assists for Sheffield Wednesday. I would definitely take him and feel hes a good player at championship level let alone league 1. Would run games here.

I'd suggest watching it on mute! Heard the name before but know bugger all about him.

Ha didn't notice! There are a few tweets about rumours coming from Sheffield but nothing remotely concrete. We've probably asked about loads of potential loans.Harry Genshaw wrote:I didn't even click on the link. His 1st post I just assumed he was flogging kitchens or sommat

Only played 11 games for them so far, this season. Not sure if he would drop down a division. Other Championship clubs interested as well.
Pfffft.

Is the video as good as Daniel Braaten's?

He hasn't. In fact he's only played once since March 5th last year – scoring a late consolation penalty against Wolves in a May dead-rubber as Carvalhal rested players ahead of the play-offs. The Portuguese told him last summer he can leave; he doesn't even have a squad number.milsj099 wrote:Don't think hes played any games for them this seasonTKIZ! wrote:Only played 11 games for them so far, this season. What position does he play? I always thought he were a striker but google says midfield. Is he one we might be looking at instead of Sammy?
Re: Lewis Mcgugan Video
He once won me a fair bit of money as I had him to score first and score being 2-2 when we played Forest at the Reebok a few years ago.

Re: Lewis Mcgugan Video
He has had a knack of scoring the odd goal, but so did Trotter and Pratley. He's a central midfielder, which I'd say is our most heavily-occupied position. Yes, Vela has shifted forward, but we've still got Spearing, Pratley, Thorpe and Derik, plus Trotter I suppose.BWFC_Insane wrote:What position does he play? Might make sense if Wednesday were willing to pay the majority of his wages, we were short of central midfielders and we didn't have a limit on squad numbers. But as (in reverse order) we do, weren't not and we're not sure, I'd suggest this would be a surprise move – even if we can manage to fob Trotter off somewhere.

Google says that was August 2012, didn't realise it was that long ago!! Marvellous Marvin scored his first goal for us that day.

We need a wideman or two and a striker. As priorities. The last position right now to worry about is centre of midfield.

Lewis was awesome at Forest, when he applied himself. Very well liked by fans.
This is one of the best free kicks I've ever seen - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tA-ohaDYLQc" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
If he can replicate his Forest form, we'd have a fine midfielder on the books.
