I'm knackered just typing it. Whew, great result but we made it hard in the end. Never mind, we won a game we weren't supposed to win and it turned out a real cup game. Well done the Superwhites..... :oyea: :oyea:

At 3-0, I texted a mate to say they'd score two. We're so fckin predictable.

Sobre a terra, sobre o mar,
Às armas, às armas!
Pela Pátria lutar!
Contra os canhões marchar, marchar!

Was Pratley at fault for their goals? He's getting panned on Twatter. Mainly by sheep who weren't even there I imagine.

Not really. Wednesdays subs and ours completely changed the game. But again questions of the defending of our back three need to be asked. Changing two in midfield definitely upset us but at 3-0 we should have been comfortable still.

Anyhow, some very good things, two wing backs were excellent, though Robinson visibly struggled second half when Wednesday targeted him defensively. But both wing backs had pace and offered options up the pitch. They have the pace we need. Buckley played well too, though no chance he's fit properly. Blowing after 29 minutes. Derik had his best game for us ever. Karacan also played well. Armstrong had a super second half catching them on the break with his pace.

It was a good performance until Wednesday through some lumps on, we fell apart. Thankfully we hung on. Dervite, Darby and Beevers all looked shaky. Dervite looked the best of the three though may have been at fault for their first goal, couldn't really see what happened properly.

Morais coming on in midfield was a bad move as he left us too open and didn't cover properly, but I guess we had to bring Buckley off.

Be interesting to see what the Hull team is now. I definitely think Derik should start, though he had cramp at the end. And for me the wing backs are better in that role than Taylor and Morais. Interesting times.

Must remember though that Wednesday put out a second string.

From what I've seen, one of theirs put in an utterly atrocious foul on Morais, Parky quite rightly requested action from the ref, their 4uckwit lost the plot and had a right old go at Parky, both got sent off. If there's a right of appeal then Parky should utilise it.

Match commentator said it was Bannan who committed the foul. The Sun report says it was Jordan Rhodes who did it and got booked. If anybody here did their job like these "reporters" they'd be out of work. Report also says the managers shook hands afterwards and that Parky indicated the ref went a bit over the top?

Indeed. Barry Bannan. Ex Bolton. It was an absolute disgrace of a challenge. He went in to hurt him. Was hoping someone might have returned the favour for the little shit. Sadly not.

Their manager tried to fight a steward.

Not the worst foul I've ever seen but a revenge tackle because Morais had outfought him and come away with the ball. Parky totally justified in his reaction, which was natural. Their man being a prick. Shame Parky didn't fecking snot him properly.
And you're right about Bannon BWFCi. Never liked the wanker when we had him. He'd not have got away with that against our 90s teams. We're too soft.

Think we're all overlooking the big news here

We won a game without Gary Madine
