Keep them out and play something like we did Tueday and we'll do it. Unlike some, I understood the "we're in front, let them do the chasing" that seemed to be Parky's plan, and with a couple of nippy lads up front a break is always on. Wednesday are a good side and despite talk of them putting a second string out, they didn't really with Rhodes, Bannan and Forestieri and co in, and were always a danger. Two lapses cost us, but our defence stood up well to it all. So, COME ON YOU WHITES....

Madine songs in abundance amongst the knuckle draggers.
Just seen pratley is dropped for Buckley in the only change.

Don't seem to be any streams around, so it's Peter Brough time. Only Pratley changed, apparently, and mic lads seem to think he gets unfair stick. Anyway he's out to start with and mention that Robinson should maybe get some grass time. A quick ad session on beds, tiles and all things wondful, then off to Hull by the sea. Not a big crowd apparently (15,000 guessed at) but rugby at Wembley? getting the blame for that. Buckley in, Derik on the bench. Time to roll. COME ON YOU WHITES....

"Big open space of a pitch" is how the tiger's den is described. Bruce, I hope I didn't get that wrong, but not heard the full team. Burke is in, Cullen too, and the one chasnge was apparently from the team that played Leeds. . We move forth

Mic lads chat a message or two, then a bit of back and forth and we have a throw..Morais goes and....Madine got wrestled about but it's a goal kick. Beevers niggles a free kick away, then we clear badly, but Burke clears at the second attempt. Apologies for not knowing the home team (I don't even know ours fully). Free kick them for shirt pulling. Larsen and....in and Burke and Howard get tangled but we clear. Throw them again, Clark and....we part clear, they come back. They break and Morais clears. Karajan gets fouled and ref Langsford? hands a yellow to Mila? Karajan gets up, and.....we get the free wallop. Bad one goes out for a throw to them. Cullen and Morais go and....Morais wins a throw near their corner flag. And.....the cross was missed and the keeper got it. Armstrong, loses out eventually and......on the break they make it 1-0.....

We go back, they clear and break and....Beevers clears. Back they come and....we have it but lose it and...the breaks are really quick end to end from the sound of it. Wallop and.....oooohh Pratley's shot makes the keeper save. Throw us and....again and...Cullen and....they get it back. Taylor throw now and.....ohhhh Madine hits a long one that the keeper fumbles it and we do some real pressing.

Morais does well then passes a bit sloppy but eventualy it goes out for a throw. Diamandes? and they break and cross and score. 2-0 them.

Re: Trotters away to the Tigers (Fri night 25/08/17)
Jesus. Way way out of our depth. Thought we'd scrape by this season due to our defence. It's nowhere. Ripped to shreds down the right twice. And dubious down the left.

Not sure what anyone expected. Mind picking Buckley in central midfield away from home is one of the worst things Parkinson has done.
We desperately need a defensive midfield player. And ideally a box to box type as well. Our midfield simply isn't up to this league. Especially not playing Buckley in a 3!

Two soft sounding goals, the second from a nod in, and we're really fighting uphill. It'll have to be something 2 then now, and we need a reply quick. We get a corner now and...Morais and....outswinger and.....cleared and Pratley does a Wigan. We can do this if we keep heads up. We've had three attempts on goal already and....Burke and Morais clear, but ref gives the homers a corner. And...in and....cleared by Madine for a throw. Consesnsus sounds like Pratley sub not popular as they ballon one over. Goal kick us.

Diamandes? gets a free kick on half way. Part cleared, then back in from Larsen and a goal kick to us. Some mumble about Bury and food festivals, then Wallop and away we go. Morais, Pratley, and again and....Madine and...cleared and a throw to us. Beevrs, Derv ite, Burke and....intercepted, broka nd .....it's 3-0...
