All these are early-purchase prices (and you’ve got an extra six days this year, rather than June 10 it’s June 16 - just after the World Cup final)

To me – and I appreciate I'm not buying one - that doesn't seem like a ridiculous hike, usually a tenner or so. It's always a difficult line to toe, but to me it doesn't seem too bad. What do you think?

I'm more than happy. The admin fee rise of £5 seems a little steep, and seems like "interest" via the backdoor. But other than that, very reasonable.

By the way, your revised WC timetable will mean a lot of incredibly knackered players. For England to win it they'll have to play a lot of games in 2 days. Bit harsh that!

ST prices seem reasonable, but as I now work a lot of Saturdays, I'm not sure it's worth me buying one. At £35 per game pay on the day, to stand in a 45 minute queue, they can GTF. I won't ever pay 35 quid to watch a championship game of football, so Radio Tango it is for me, presuming the premium service is still running in August.

The increase seems a tad expensive but given what Parkinson's achieved and how we've had 2 seasons in a row that have culminated in on the pitch celebrations I don't think we can complain too much.

I would however like to see investment with those additional funds but hearing all this admin costs it just seems like we're not likely to see money back into the playing squad.

Over the last year the Consumer Prices Index has fluctuated between 2.3% and 3.1%.

I understand what you're saying with regards to price increases across the board but lets put this into some context, we're paying to support a club that has lowered its spending on the team, i'd imagine that being equivalent to subway using worse quality ingredients and expecting people to pay more for the privilege.

Have you ever belonged to a forum discussing the continuing adventures of Subway? Worn a Subway shirt? Identified yourself as a Subway fan? If Subway goes shit(ter) I'll go use a different brand, but we both know there's different rules for football.

Again, I'm not saying people "should" buy STs, that's their own decision which is affected by a multitude of things, but these price increases aren't a very strong argument IMO. It's about the cost of three/four pints of lager, or three/four high-street coffees, over the season.

In theory we should spend more on the team this summer than the previous two seasons? If we don't we'll be back in league one.

So modest increases backed up with modest investments in the squad are fine by me.

I think a small annual rise each year along the lines of inflation is fair enough. Whilst I hope businesses pay in excess of minimum wage, the fact the minimum wage has been increasing in larger increments in recent years has made life difficult for smaller businesses with small bank accounts.

I just read Kenny's log-in. In it he states that Lifeline members receive a 5% discount against the price of their season ticket. I didn't know this. Is the discount something I have to apply for (I auto-renew my ST) or do they factor it in? Anyone?

I was tempted at first when Coyle took over but something turned up that stopped me.
